Mobile IT Support Tech

We are looking for a qualified IT Support Tech to expand our in-shop and onsite tech services. 

You would be responsible for a majority of our onsite tech support service calls to our client's homes and businesses.

This position depends on your ability to build and maintain solid relationships with our clients and to support their systems, devices, networks and end users. 

We expect to start you off with a limited onsite service calls, and build out your schedule gradually. You will work out of our office in north Seattle during initial training and/or when not scheduled to be on a service call.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience troubleshooting technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems. Includes Windows, Office, Server etc. Specifically Windows Vista and higher, Office 2007 and higher, Windows Server 2003 and higher.

Experience troubleshooting technical issues involving Apple’s core devices, and operating systems. Includes Mac OS, Time Machine, Airport Express/Extreme, iPhone/iPad, etc. Specifically OS X 10.6 and higher and iOS 6 and higher.

Experience with cloud based productivity suites including Microsoft Office 365, Google Business apps, Apple iCloud/iWork etc. Experience with managing DNS records, and uploading historical mail to the cloud from offline mail apps such as Outlook and Mac Mail.

Experience setting up and supporting networks, including wired/wireless setups, routers, firewalls, and security policies. Experience across an array of network configurations, of routers, switches, VPNs etc. Most work will involve networks of less than 25 users/workstations, as we do focus on residential and small business clients.

Strong communication skills for communicating directly with customers, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. Ability to document/note all your actions in our ticketing system. You may also be required to take/process payments for onsite services completed.
